Che le reunion vadano di moda si sa, è davanti agli occhi di tutti. I Misfists non vogliono sentirsi da meno e pare ci sia la volontà di una clamorosa reunion che vedrebbe il ritorno dello storico cantante della punk-rock band del New Jersey Glenn Danzig. Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein in una recente intervista ad Alternative Press parla di questa possibile reunion per un tour e, forse, per un nuovo album. Ecco le sue parole:
“I’m the only one that’s gonna get the original lineup back together. So I think I’m going to work on that, and hopefully I can pull the two bulls together and get them to fucking stop.”
E ancora: “You know what? I’ve just decided this week that I am going to make an attempt, and I wanna do it. I’ll put what I’m doing right on the fucking side. I’ll go do it tomorrow.”
Nella stessa intervista Doyle afferma di aver già incontrato anni fa Danzig e Jerry Only per proporre la reunion, che però non andò in porto. Questo il suo commento: “It didn’t happen and it’s a shame. It’s stupid that we’re not doing it. It would be huge.”
Staremo a vedere…
Sarebbe veramente una figata se Glenn tornasse ad essere un Misfits!!!
